The southern regions of Perth’s metropolitan area are about to become hotspots for golf enthusiasts with the upcoming openings of two epic interactive driving ranges. Outta Bounds in Murdoch and the Fremantle Public Golf Course are undergoing massive makeovers, promising to bring a fresh, modern, and thrilling golf experience to the community.
We’re excited to share that both facilities will have extended hours almost every night. Outta Bounds is expected to be open until 11pm, while Fremantle Public are planning to stay open until 10pm. We also may or may not be able to confirm that a 24 hour facility is current in its final stages of planning and approval… we’ll let you know as soon as we know more!

Meanwhile, Fremantle Public Golf Course is undergoing a $19 million transformation under the new management of Belgravia Leisure. Set to feature Australia’s first LaunchPad Golf experience, this redevelopment includes:
- Multi-Level, 40-Suite Driving Range: Similar to Outta Bounds, this range will offer multiple levels and suites for an immersive golfing experience.
- Unlimited Balls and Booking Options: Spend as much time as you like perfecting your swing with unlimited balls during your booked session.
- Enhanced Facilities: The new clubhouse, retail space, and food and beverage venues will elevate the entire experience.
LaunchPad Golf will bring a new dynamic to Fremantle’s golfing scene, combining entertainment with skill development. The City of Fremantle’s $3.2 million grant funding ensures that this project will provide a lasting benefit to the community, making golf accessible and enjoyable for a broader demographic.
