Otherwise, we also have free trials. I mean, who doesn't love a free trial?

Our goal is simple! We want to be the cleanest, quickest and easiest way to obtain an official handicap in Australia.

For us, it is not just about running events and creating a community, it's also about allowing Australians to play golf on their own terms while enjoying the benefits of having an official handicap!

Of course! Should you need to place your membership on hold due to an extended period away from the game simply send an email through to admin@thegolfcollective.com.au notifying us and we will have your membership placed on hold.

Please note that if you place your membership on hold your GOLF Link number will also be placed on hold.

Handicapping

Firstly, you will receive an email which will consist of your new GolfLink number!

In order to get your handicap we require you to submit 54 holes of golf through our system. This can be done by simply logging in and selecting "Submit A Handicap Card".

These 54 initial handicapping holes can be completed however you want (3 x 18 hole rounds or 6 x 9 hole rounds).

Once you have completed your 54th hole you will receive an email from us informing you of exactly what your handicap is!

You are now free to begin submitting scores as often as you need!

If you are looking to make The Golf Collective your new home club we will transfer your previous playing history to the new GolfLink number we allocate you.

If you do not wish to make The Golf Collective your home club all we will require is your current GolfLink to be on file allowing us to submit your scores for handicapping.

Our team submits scorecards for handicapping 365 days of the year! How much you play and submit is completely up to you.

Your handicap is calculated using the current Australian Handicapping & Course Rating Systems. It is based on the 54 holes of golf you are provided to submit upon signing up. Further information can be found here

However, your initial handicap is put together by multiplying the difference between your best three scores and "Par" by 0.93.

You can check your handicap by creating an account and logging into the Golf Australia website (www.golf.org.au).
